Nokia 5200

Featuring a similar lifestyle-inspired slide design as the Nokia 5300 XpressMusic, the slider-style Nokia 5200 offers an exciting combination of music and messaging functions and is an even more budget-friendly handset. Access the stereo FM radio with one dedicated key, or download music to your mobile while out and about. With its compact design and great audio quality, the Nokia 5200 is the perfect choice for street-smart music lovers.

This unlocked cell phone can be used with a GSM network service provider and it provides tri-band connectivity (900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz). Powered by GPRS/EDGE Class 10 (Enhanced Data for Global Evolution) technology, the 5200 makes information exchange a breeze by offering immediate mobile connectivity. It does not come with a SIM card, and it requires that you provide a SIM card for usage with your selected service provider. This phone comes with a one-year warranty from a third party provider.
The 5200 has a spring-assisted slide opening mechanism that opens to reveal the numeric keypad. The brightly colorful TFT screen has a 128 x 160-pixel resolution and offers up to 262K colors. Because the 5200 is Bluetooth enabled, wireless communication headsets can be configured with the phone for total hands-free operation. It includes a 5 MB memory, and it's expandable via MicroSD memory cards. The T9 predictive text entry technology is built into the unit, which makes it easier for people to enter words and text on handsets--a plus for mobile email and text messaging users.
The VGA-quality camera can capture images up to 640 x 480 pixels--perfect for sending via MMS or email--and it includes a 4x digital zoom and video capture capability. Other photo features include programmable white balance, the ability to add frames surrounding photos, and the phone's side volume keys used as zoom keys. For music, the digital audio player supports MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+ and spMidi files in addition to the integrated FM radio, and the phone is compatible with 64-chord polyphonic and MP3 ringtones. Other features include an XHTML web browser, a good collection of personal information management (PIM) applications (calendar, countdown timer, alarm clock, stopwatch, reminders, notes), animated screensavers and wallpapers, and instant messaging with Presence technology (which enables you to see the online status of other users).
